I was responsible for managing all financial planning and reporting activities for the WA business including preparation of budgets and forecasts, analysing and reporting monthly financial results and preparation of strategic business plans. This role worked closely with Senior Management and was looked at as a business partner role which included business support and coaching in financial matters.The role also included being responsible for monthly,quarterly and on demand reporting,preparing major capital proposals and assisting management in developing revenue and cost initiatives. My role reported directly to the Australian CFO (based in Sydney) and required close interaction with senior stakeholders including the GM, business unit managers and site production managers in WA.The role also required high level business reviews with the COO,CFO and the senior management team of Holcim Australia.
