CurrentI serve as partner in the Entertainment & New Media, Intellectual Property & Technology, and Litigation practice groups at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp. I counsel clients on a broad array of issues affecting content creation and distribution for delivery on multiple platforms. Leveraging multidisciplinary experience, I offer comprehensive legal solutions to leading media and entertainment and technology clients, including major producers and distributors of syndicated television programs, cable networks, independent producers, and others.Representative Legal Matters:• Served as lead counsel for more than 100 producers and distributors of television content in multiparty copyright royalty disputes before the Copyright Royalty Board and federal courts. • Achieved historic settlement of a multibillion-dollar, eight-party royalty dispute.• Obtained summary judgment in favor of a healthcare industry client in a software copyright infringement action.• Obtained summary dismissal in favor of a major cable network in a copyright infringement action involving a television program.• Served as lead counsel on numerous appellate cases.Leading from Within the Firm: • Serve on firm governing board and took on multiple significant committee assignments.• Lead all of firm’s DEI initiatives as Chair of the DEI Committee. Firm is a 4X recipient of “Diversity Leader” award by Profiles in Diversity Journal.• Strengthened firm’s recruitment, mentoring, promotion, and retention of women and attorneys of color.
