Led multiple projects to successful completion supporting the desktop division of Refinitiv. Led global teams of 15 engineers to build Codebook, a new concept of financial information products running on Kubernetes, combining real-time data, big data lakes, and Jupyter Notebook to allow traders to build interactive analysis applications in visual Python. Acted as an architect and consultant to senior management and executives on issues related to cybersecurity, cloud strategy, and software engineering standards, such as the shift in focus for the organization towards cloud-native, serverless architecture strategy. This shift in strategy resulted in 80+% cost-savings project-by-project and dramatically simplified scaling and deployment leading to unprecedented stability and resilience of systems we built.
