Senior inspector with the TGA performing inspections of Australian and international manufacturing companies. Inspections conducted on sterile,non sterile manufactures as well as API and biotechnology. Also perform veterninary manufacturing GMP inspections, radio pharmaceuticals and extemporaneous compounding GMP inspections. Expertise gained over many years working in industry both in pharmaceutical and biotechnology. Experienced microbiologist and taught at tertairy institutes. Also representative on PIC/S API group and represented the TGA at industry forums. Also involved in joint regulatory inspections. Recently hosted the PIC/S Expert Circle on API's Conference in Melbourne that was attended by many international regulators.

Also involved in joint inspections with other international regulators. On the committee of the PIC/S API Expert Circle. In 2017, organized and hosted PIC/S Expert Circle on API/S in Melbourne Australia that was attended by many international regulators.

Involved in the manufacture of oncology clinical trial material as well as the contract manufacture for clients both locally and internationally. Required scaling of genetically modified organisms using fermentation and purification processes. Developed understanding in biotechnology manufacture, clincial trial and contract manufacture while delivering on key management objectives and conducted business development activities. Taught biotechnology as guest lecturer at University of Queensland and Griffith University.

In production role I was Involved in the technical aspects of manufacturing sterile products as creams, ointments, eye drops and injectables. In this role also introduced new products and supervised staff. Opportunity to broaden knowledge and so moved into QA role reviewing documents and QC for release of product. Also involved in conducting investigations resulting form quality impacting events. Expanded knowledge in tablet and powder manufacture. Challenging and rewarding role.
