Biography-Greg OubreMr. Oubre is a passionate and results-oriented educator with over a decade of experience transforming classrooms in challenging inner-city schools. His dedication is evident in his numerous achievements, including back-to-back national championships in math competitions, world-record reading scores in the Achieve 3000 program, and multiple year gains in the MobyMax Learning Program.A proven leader, Mr. Oubre has been recognized as Dean Highland Outstanding Teacher, Waco ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year, ESC Region 12 Teacher of the Year, and an Exemplary Teacher by the Texas Education Agency. He has secured multiple grants to fund innovative programs in academics, technology, and community involvement.Beyond accolades, Mr. Oubre is known for his creativity. He designs engaging lessons that combine Whole Brain Teaching, cognitive processing skills, and even utilizes balance beams and challenging games. He founded the Central Texas Parent-Teacher Alliance, fostering collaboration between teachers and families.Mr. Oubre's passion extends beyond the classroom. He is a lifelong learner with a love for biblical and historical studies, and a national-level Arabian horse competitor/coach. This well-roundedness fuels his desire to inspire a love of learning in his students.
