World’s largest operator/owner of executive business centers. • Responsibilities include serving as general counsel for the Americas corporate management and operating departments, including: Real Estate Development and Operations, Construction, Leasing, Lease Administration, M&A, Finance, Purchasing/Strategic Sourcing, and Risk Management. • Direct responsibility for all legal processes relating to a real estate portfolio of approximately 400 sites located throughout the Americas, including acquisitions, site selection, leasing, compliance and operations. • Additional responsibilities include all aspects of litigation management and dispute resolution. • Responsible for the management and operation of a legal department consisting of 4 other professionals (2 attorneys and 2 paralegals).

Centex Corporation. Responsibilities included serving as general counsel to 2 large operating subsidiaries; CTX Builders Supply and Wayne Homes.• CTX Builders Supply employed approximately 900 employees located in 10 manufacturing plants nationwide. Activities included legal responsibility for site selection, acquisition, entitlement, development, environmental/regulatory compliance and disposition of plant sites (typically “brown fields”).• Wayne Homes employed approximately 700 employees managing over 100 residential construction sites nationwide.Additional responsibilities included serving as primary legal counsel to all corporate operating departments, including: Land Development, Construction Services, Storm Water/Environmental Compliance, Safety, Supply Chain/Strategic Sourcing, Information Technology; Sales and Marketing; and Risk Management.• Extensive experience in drafting, negotiating and administering all types of commercial contracts, including professional service agreements, architect/design contracts, non-disclosure agreements and IP licenses, for a wide range of business units and procurement groups.
