Joined Kinross in 2009 as a Security Supervisor implemented the New Global Securities program to the site. In 2010 accepted the Security Superintendents position and as the only kinross employee in security currently manage contract securities (Gurardsmark) with 11 officers and the responsibility of three sites.

Started as a Corrections Officers graduating as Honor Graduate from the Corrections Officer Academy in 1997. Held positions of Corrections Officer, Assistant Jail Commander and Jail Commander. In 1998 became a Law Enforcement Reserve Officer and in 1999 graduated from the Washington State Law Enforcement Peace Officer Academy, left the Corrections Department and became a County Road Deputy. As a deputy I became an instructor in the use of a Taser, Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle. In 2007 I accepted additional responsibilities as the Homeland Security Coordinator for County, Emergency Management for the County and a representive of Region Nine Homeland Security Council. I also, accepted the position of Undersheriff for the Ferry County Sheriff's Office.

Started in 1970 had basic at Fort Lewis, WA., AIT at Fort Rucker AL as a aircraft mechanic. My first year was as a door gunner on the back of a Huey helicopter, lasted one year and changed my MOS to a observation aircraft mechanic and served until 1974 with the 101st Airborne Division Fort Campell, Ky. In 1974 was accepted to attend the flight academy at Fort Rucker Alabama (9 months) graduated as the Distinguished Honor Graduate. In 1975 went to the 7th Infantry Division, Fort Ord, Ca. as a OH-58 & UH-1 pilot, became a Supply Officer, Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Test Pilot. Departed the military for 6 months and went back in 1978 where I was assigned to the 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS where I transitioned into the UH-60 Blackhawk, in time became an Instructor Pilot. In 1980 I was assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division as the Division Commander's pilot at Camp Casey, Korea. In 1982 went to the 9th Infantry Fort Lewis, Wa. and ended up being deployed overseas 6 months out of every year with responsibilities as a UH-60 instructor pilot. In 1986 I was assigned to the 23 Task Force, in Germany as a EH-60 pilot/instructor and deloyed to Iraq in 1991. My last assignment was with the 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO which I retired from in 1992.
