My work at the NSTTF has focused on development of the mass flow control and measurement of sub-millimeter ceramic particles. This has required the close collaboration between myself, technicians, and other engineering staff. The technical work has involved the design of parts to operate at over 700C, testing of flow rate sensors and control actuators, written and in-person presentations to the client, and frame-by-frame image analysis of the particles in free fall using a custom code written in MATLAB.
