Greg Peacock's professional career spans two large International and two boutique Investment banks. Firstly as as a commodity analyst, then joining the sales desk as a research equities salesman for Baring Securities (acquired by McIntosh and in turn taken over by Merrill Lynch). The role was to service the large Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo based Investment and Hedge Funds, specialising in Australian/New Zealand Equities, Australian/NZ IPO's and Corporate Roadshows. The position entailed extensive travel throughout the region as well as secondment to several overseas offices. Relocated to London in 1994 as co head of Australian sales for Merrill Lynch. The broadened role included organising numerous IPO and research driven road shows, IPO listings and corporate dealmaking. Extensive European and US marketing generated increased trading and market share.Employed by Macquarie Equities in 1999 to perform a similar role in both the London and Sydney offices. However, the economic area of operation was expanded to include not only London and Europe but also to develop a Middle Eastern client base. Joint Venture partners Austock Securities and CIMB created a Sydney based unit to build a Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysian client base marketing Australian and New Zealand equities and domestic corporate deals. Austock had developed a banking relationship with CIMB, a Malaysian Investment bank which allowed them to leverage their mutual client bases. The Australian & New Zealand Festival of Literature & Arts is an annual festival held at the Kings College in London. The festival is the first of its kind in the UK/Europe show casing the best Australian and New Zealand talent from the world of literature and arts. The festival is a registered charity supported by both the Australian and New Zealand High Commissioners in London and their respective governments through the Arts Council and Creative New Zealand. Furthermore, the festival enjoyed considerable success and attracted sponsorship from a broad range of businesses and individuals. We're now building on these foundations and have major writers and artists on board for the May, 2016 Festival as well as events throughout the year.
