Greg is a UK- and Hong Kong-qualified architect practising in Singapore, SE Asia & Greater China, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary design and management. He is the co-founder of One Space Ltd, a team of behaviour-driven design professionals providing interior architecture + technology for multinational & regional organisations. One Space is the only service provider of its kind in the Asia-Pacific Region.Greg has more than 35 years experience in a wide range of projects, from large infrastructure to interior design and furniture. He is also an internationally qualified Project Manager, lecturer and writer.In 2001, Greg co-founded MIDM at University of Hong Kong, the first academic programme in Asia for cross-disciplinary collaborative leadership. He was the Director of this programme until January 2006.In 2004, Greg co-founded One Space Ltd, Asia's first integrated architecture + technology design firm focused on creating interior environments that seamlessly link our experiences of inhabitation with the digital world around us. Over a 5-year period, I designed, established, raised sponsorship for and then directed this innovative 2-year Master's Degree Programme for the Faculty of Architecture. Aimed at mid-career professionals from a wide range of disciplines, the course delivered vital skills in interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork, an attribute strongly desired across the region's design and construction industry. MIDM became the first programme of its kind in Asia and only the second one in the world, after Cambridge University in the UK.

The University of Bath School of Architecture's Sir Basil Spence Studio is a groundbreaking interdisciplinary design course that brings together Year 4 architecture students & civil engineering students in an open learning & discovery forum. The overarching aim is to engender cross-fertilisation of problem-solving skillsets and to foster more creative and sustainable built environment solutions through meaningful collaboration. A challenging Brief compels each team to dispel preconceptions in order to experience the richness of co-creation. Working in joint project groups students get a taste of the working relationships in the professional world of complex, multi-disciplinary project teams.
