Advisory Board members typically have a wide range of responsibilities which can include:• Providing strategic guidance on the Hub’s goals and growth strategies.• Maintain a representative stakeholder network.• Maintain a relevant regional knowledge base to inform the Hub.• Consult regional stakeholders on activities and interventions; to inform their development, support their delivery and secure participation as appropriate.• Represent their organisation / sector / geographic area and offer feedback from their wider networks.• Identify emerging policy, technical and financial challenges and opportunities, and propose Hub responses for the Hub Board’s consideration.• Serve as an ambassador for the Hub.• Provide advice and support to other RAB members.

I work supporting the Chief Executive and Executive Directors to take forward strategic policy and projects across both organisations. This includes: -- Developing and implementing a Key Account Manager approach to our engagement with Business to better support them to stay and grow in our localities. - Looking at how we can improve the social mobility of our residents- Implementing a graduate programme to support the organisations' approaches to talent acquistion- Keeping a watching briefing on national emerging issues such as local government reorganisation and mapping the local impacts- Developing our next set of four year corporate business plans and the delivery/resource plans that sit underneath them
