I began working in the wine and spirits industry after graduating from the University of Illinois in 2007. Since then, I have built and maintained relationships with many key wine buyers in the Chicago land market. In 2011 I became a CSW (Certified Specialist of Wine). After running three different sales territories in and around the Chicago land area, I was promoted to District Manager of the Chicago Wine Merchants off premise team in July of 2012. In that role, I had 6 direct reports who I coached and trained while also being responsible for growing the combined volume and revenue business that their territories generated. In July of 2014, I began a new role as a Wine Channel Manager. In that role, I worked with our suppliers to determine their priorities, put together programming to support their priorities, and then deliver that programming to the sales team. I worked with a Brand Manager to ultimately manage the business of our suppliers. In January 2017, I began my current role as a Brand Manager. Now I manage the pricing, inventory, banks, and profitability of the suppliers that I manage.
