I am currently a partner and co-founder at the engineering contracting company Order One Solutions, and for the past 6 years have been involved with a variety of companies working as an automation engineer, primarily with Beckhoff controls and the TwinCAT automation platform. I am familiar with motion control, safety programming, HMI creation, device networking, multiple automation protocols, and version control/code management.I have also been involved in numerous mechanical design projects and am familiar with a wide range of manufacturing processes, including rapid prototyping with 3d printing, design for CNC components, injection molding, and of course component selection, BOM and GD&T drawing generation.Lastly, I have been the lead point of contact for many of my projects, interacting directly with customers and other engineers to set expectations, manage deliverables, define project goals, communicate with vendors, and handle other administrative work like time tracking and ticket generation.I am interested in taking on jobs that will allow my partners and myself to put our mechanical design, prototyping, automation programming, algorithm application and interpersonal skills to use on challenging and rewarding projects while also giving us the opportunity to continue developing as engineers with similarly motivated peers.
