During this exciting timeline, I have operated my own freelance photographic studio facility, catering to the needs of various Advertising, Commercial and Government agencies as well as the Fine Arts & Craft communities. I specialize in studio and location still photography using high-end digital camera equipment.Utilising professional electronic flash or available lighting where required and applying a perceptive understanding of composition with an instinct for the selection of appropriate lighting combinations.My images are created that bring the subjects visually alive. Focusing on a moment in time to appreciate their substance and beauty.Recently I’ve re-engaged with video to provide further visual assets to my clients communication needs. Due to lack of Federal and State Government funding this course was terminated for 2013. Disappointing for the students that were halfway to completing their course.One full day a week, I taught students attending the "Certificate IV Photo Imaging - 10413 " course who wished to gain a comprehensive knowledge of the technical and aesthetic use of photographic image capture. Especially the skills required to work as a professional photographic assistant/photographer. Students were introduced to new developments, techniques and a solid understanding of the fine art, graphic art and imaging industries within a commercial environment.Goulburn is a large satellite city that required professional hands on instruction due to it's location in Southern NSW and distance to capital city centres.

I held the position of manager "Photographic and Audio Visual Unit", for eleven years and was instrumental in establishing and designing the service facilities within this state museum complex.I implemented an extensive range of image services towards the construction of many major internal or traveling exhibitions, interactive AV kiosks, retail displays and publications. Not only photographic still images & exhibition prints of various dimensions, but also VHS video, 16mm cine-film and 35mm Multi sound/slide projector presentations for the redevelopment of this large cultural info/entertainment complex.I established and designed the computerized retrieval process of archived images representing the collection's diverse objects and artworks. This also incorporated the monitoring of all curatorial & publicity units annual photographic budget allocations and their progressive spend.This was effectively used as the template for the institutions finance department during this transition.

As part of a team, I provided an extensive range of photographic still & moving images, film processing of all formats, colour and black&white printing for Academic publications, Research projects, Lectures and Exhibitions utilised by the many faculties. These images covered the specialised areas of Medical operations including microscope imagery, Veterinarian research and operations, Architectural design & building construction, Engineering stress testing, Artworks at Power Gallery, Botanical GM research and the more extreme social activities of Political Science student demonstrations during this time frame.
