I've been operating heavy equipment and held various supervisory positions over the last 24 years. My early career was in oil and gas and the last 19 years with Teck coal. I have moved around within Teck and have gained valuable knowledge in mine operations, processing, maintenance, and now specialize in water management activities, and I am actively involved as the general supervisor of operations and maintenance with the ongoing reclamation program at Cardinal River mine. I've worked at Fording Coal, Coal Mountain, Line Creek, and Cardinal River, and the one thing consistent- there will always be challenges, and you will always be challenged. With the ability to listen, look outside the box, and adapt to change, there is always a safe solution!
