Flexible project management style rooted in deep appreciation of spreadsheets and a desire to create high-quality, successful games.Having started my career in games as a Character Artist, Animator, Airplane Modeler, and Art Lead for the first 10 years has given me deep insight into IC and Producer relationship. While the specifics of the tasks have changed, I understand the dynamic between the roles and use that empathy to build a strong connection with my teams.Outside of work, my primary hobby is playing board games. My favorite interview question for a Producer position was when they noticed part of my collection behind me on the call and asked how board games contribute to my approach to work. It was a wonderful opportunity to talk about long term planning that goes on in a strategy game, working out the dependencies needed to achieve a larger goal, tactically adjusting to the moment when unexpected moves happen, being able to read a lengthy rulebook and convey the complex ideas to new players in an easy to understand way, and getting together with friends to all have a great time!
