  Responsible for the east coast appliance delivery warehouses in the U.S. This includes developing a damage reduction strategy for SDS operations, conducting training for product handling, installation, and NPI roll-out execution in the field and to improve customer satisfaction.My desire is to develop a problem solving culture to ensure people work towards continuous improvement. This is done by respecting employees enough to give them ownership of their work. This only works if you can coach or mentor to each employees' level so they can develop an understanding of how important they are to a team of people working up and down stream from them. Coaching the use of the (TPM) system, Standard work, 5s, Process mapping, visual management and problem solving are a few of the processes needed to make a business successful.Became a KPO in 2008 and advanced to a mission 1 KPO in 2010.-I worked on a team that reduced cost by process improvements, increased productivity, implementation of new products lines and the redesign of old product lines. -With the direction of Japanese Sensis we developed new assembly lines. With the use of the Production Preparation Process, ergonomic design, flexible assembly line development , we created continuous flowing assembly lines with production cells where necessary. -Helped develop a Kanban material flow system for finished and raw materials. - Helped design and build work stations for new product launch. These work stations supported production of up to 150 new operators.Work with AME’s, designer engineers, product managers and assembly line workers in the design of new products and the improvement of current products. -Lead a team of KPO’s (Kaizen Promotion Officers) in process improvement, assembly simplification, waste elimination, and safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements, while maintaining morale in a union facility.
