I'm a corporate lawyer with extensive cross border Canada and US experience, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financing, litigation management, corporate structure (Canada and the US), internal policies, and governance. I've been the corporate secretary for public companies and worked closely with CEOs and Chairpersons on planning and attending Board of Director meetings. I've led corporate risk management, handling insurance programs, litigation management, and operational risks. I have also been the Privacy Officer for large North American companies operating in Canada and the United States. I'm also the Founder and CEO at Made It Legal, a legal tech company that lets businesses create their own legal documents online in minutes. We're a growing company of legal professionals and tech enthusiasts that want to empower businesses to do their best work. We do that through making legal work uniquely easy for them.I also assist a number of start-ups and growing small businesses in the Calgary area and have had the opportunity to attend several tech conferences, most recently Collision in Toronto to showcase start ups I am involved with. I'm passionate about seeing people succeed in their entrepreneurial leaps. My other interests including paragliding, kiteboarding, rock climbing, and travelling all over the world. I'm a pilot as well. I'm also very experienced in Krav Maga, another passion of mine.
