I have also had to explain complex tax calculations and information to other colleagues, again ranging all grades from most to least senior. I have delivered training programmes to hundreds of HMRC staff when I spent time as a trainer. These programmes have varied in length from 3 hours to 5 weeks.During my time there have been various types of changes. There have been changes to meet strategic objectives, a structural change within the office, change in resources to my team, or just individual changes that affect myself. I have spent 18 years in HMRC and have dealt with every change with a positive attitude and understand that changes have to happen. I continue to perform my role to the best of my ability and am able to adapt to changes quickly when they occur. I am in frequent communication with staff of all grades and regularly speak to very senior customers. I am known for my patience, understanding and good rapport with customers, colleagues and staff from other government organisations, regardless of grade or position. I am still in regular contact with colleagues I have previously trained for their role and currently have positive relationships with everyone in my team, customers that I am dealing with and several speakers at this year's Civil Service Live event, as I am acting as content support.
