Over 30 years in Emergency Response, developing from Fire Fighter through to Technical and Operations Manager on Teesside on one of the largest COMAH site areas in Europe. Moved to Das Island as Fire Chief for ADMA (OPCO) and then ADNOC Group Company Corporate Fire Chief Specialist in the UAE responsible for assurance and regulation of 16 Group Companies. Operated my own consultancy company engaged on many projects across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Currently Director of Fire Fighting Services for FOOJ in the UAE responsible for outsourcing, service management and major investment in fire fighting equipment and facilities. My experience covers many areas enabling provision of consultancy services across a wide spectrum of emergency management and response:Operational/Emergency Response:- significant experience in the industrial fire fighting at all levels including attending the Buncefield Oil Depot Fire as an Industrial expert FF (during the first two days, not post incident). Attended many oil and chemical related incidents at all levels over my career.Technical:- I have held a BEng (Hons) in Fire Engineering since 1999 which enable excellent gap analysis of resources and systems and development of practical and realistic cost effective solutionsManagement:- running a Department with over 100 direct line staff, responsible for recruitment, training, budgets, projects, performance etc..
