I started my transportation career as a Safety Supervisor and Claims Specialist, both in general liability and bodily injury claims. Moved to operations and logistics and now specialize in Hazmat shipping and container shipping. Everyday is an opportunity to learn and sometimes you learn the hard way. Not every lesson comes from a classroom. Integrity and hard work are my cornerstones. If you have those intact you will be able to confront any task. Communication is one of our biggest challenges today. The internet may have made things faster and efficient, but we have lost a lot in the details. Verbally communicate as often as you can. Lastly, I am a musician. I grew up in a musical family and I thought every family was a musical family. As I got a little older, I honed my craft at singing, playing guitar, writing, and realized money can be earned from these talents. I play in various bands every weekend or every chance I get, I love it, its who I am…. it’s my Golf game, if you will, however I get paid to do it!
