Designing mobile robots with cameras and sensors. I design and build the product, and write the software. The bots are operated by humans that replace on-site security guards and return to a charging station after a patrol. While docked they continue to send back telemetry such as Doppler radar, smoke, gas, noise and vibration information. Creating User Interface software. Maintaining Linux Servers and desktops. Writing code in PHP, C++, Perl, and JavaScript. Creating 3D models and using 3D printers and laying out Circuit cards. Had to install Security Cameras and Card entry systems.

Developed a GPS location system (Sherloc) to locate, alarm and map GPS devices. Tested and upgraded software for ReFlex, GSM, CDMA networks. Did service side software for Geofence and alarming. Wrote Perl scripts and did the web interface to modify the device settings. Did field training and testing of devices with Tow Truck Drivers, Law Enforcement and Wrote JavaScript and VB Scripts for a client side web pages. Did the graphics and photography and wrote the manuals for the device installation and support.

Did pre-shipment equipment testing, site and equipment requirements and the field installation of radio telephone and voice mail paging systems. Worked on interfacing to the Telephone and Radio network. Did field upgrades of hardware and software engineering change orders. I wrote the service manuals and upgrade procedures and provided the Bill of Materials and specificed the components required for board level modifications. Software upgrades were complex and non-trivial. I diagnosed software and hardware issued in the field and worked in the factory or over the phone to resolve these issues. I was the primary trainer for customer in the field and in the factory classrooms. I wrote the training manual. I wrote the sofware to convert databases from one system to another, included the conversion from competitors equipment.

Programmed and operated HP Automatic Test Equipment that was used to test circuit cards from an assembly line. Work included Bed-of-Nails layout and code writing. Operated the equipment and repair and tested circuit cards. I also tested and certified 19 inch rack systems for the radio telephone market. The devices included control heads, power supplies, Radio Telephone switches and power equipment for rolling stock rail systems. Glenayre was the primary provider of radio telephone systems for AT&T, Bell and all North American radio common carriers.

Worked on 737, 747, DC-10 airliners avionics system. Did repairs and upgrades on the aircaft and trouble shot all systems from communications, navigation, autopilot and passenger entertainment systems. I spend 1 year working on the aircraft and 3 years doing black box repairs. 1 Year was working on the Automatic Test Equipment to test Autoflight equipment.
