I work extensively with specialist BDO Advantage software to support regional client facing audit teams, providing analytical visualisation dashboards which allow myself and auditors to easily spot patterns and anomalies within large data sets.Core Responsibilities:To liaise with and support audit teams and their clients during the data extraction process, offering feedback and recommendations when needed.Manage a vast array of data sources and solve data quality issues to produce visualisation dashboards.Deliver work outputs to agreed timescales, quality and volumes with minimum supervision.Provide technical and professional support to other colleagues and new employees in order to improve the efficiency and development of the team.Review work providing insightful review points on how to improve scripting used in order to boost quality.Skills Developed:Improved on a strong working knowledge of MS products and similar desktop applications, from MS Excel to Outlook, and business intelligence tools.A learned understanding of scripting languages such as SQL and Python.Ability to use my own initiative and take a flexible approach, working well in a close knit team environment.Built on my ability to exercise my own initiative in order to meet deadlines or help out a fellow team members.Excellent time management, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise different projects while consistently meeting deadlines with limited supervision.
