I conduct risk management for hot work processes such as oxy/fuel welding equipment, electic welders, angle grinders and power tools. I also conduct safety awareness training for the above as well. Risk assessments and hazard reports are also an important part of the job.

Looking after the technical divisions of 2 branches. Servicing equipment such as computers, tv's, sound systems etc .

The job involved checking the return stock on a daily basis from distributors all over Australia such as Telecom, Dick Smith, Strathfield car radios, Optus etc. The stock was either deemed to be faulty or returned for credit. When new items came into our Head Office a quality assurance test would be done on the items. There were 6 other staff members in the service department which I would oversee and report back to the General manager. Customer service when clients or customers would ring with issues regarding the Cellnet stock. Testing of car kits and hands free items.

The job was varied and included tasks such as maintenance of the On- Air and production studios. The maintenance and installation of broadcast equipment. Repairs to office equipment and broadcast equipment. Rebuilding of On-Air and production studios. Maintenance and repairs on the Triple M office computer system. Maintenance and servicing of the transmitters. The organization of Outside broadcasts which involved the set up and dismantling of broadcast equipment at the broadcast location. Organization of building maintenance and refurbishments. Overseeing the building security.

Started as a Control Room operator which involved shift work and making sure that the station stayed On- Air and the studios were ready for the announcers. Recording of beach reports and certain news items which were played to air from the control room. Reporting to the technicians of any faults with the studios and relevant equipment. I then moved into the technical department which involved maintenance of the On-Air and production studios. Repairs to the studios and equipment. Maintenance of the transmitters. Organizing and setting up and dismantling of the broadcast equipment located at different sites. The rebuild of the radio station from Kent Street to Neutral Bay.
