The job involved checking the return stock on a daily basis from distributors all over Australia such as Telecom, Dick Smith, Strathfield car radios, Optus etc. The stock was either deemed to be faulty or returned for credit. When new items came into our Head Office a quality assurance test would be done on the items. There were 6 other staff members in the service department which I would oversee and report back to the General manager. Customer service when clients or customers would ring with issues regarding the Cellnet stock. Testing of car kits and hands free items.
