I was a member of a team introducing budgeting and forecasting software called Vena to interface with PLEX. Most of the analysis work at CMWA was Excel-based, so my advanced Excel skills certainly came in handy during my time with the Company. My other focus areas were streamlining the Sage Fixed Asset accounting and construction in progress processes, tracking the very important to CMWA scrap expense, and working to improve the inventory to cost of goods sold accounting trail for manufacturing supplies, chemical supplies and product sub-materials.

The new contract not only saved Lexmark money, but it also moved our audio product to the cloud and provided 4,100 end-users with an easier to navigate web interface. I was also integral to the success of our quarterly CEO all employee meeting webcasts.• Obtained CFO approval for a series of multi-million-dollar inkjet printhead manufacturing plant expansion appropriations. We owned a subsidiary Guarantee from the Partnerships and when my valuation proved the subsidiary solvent, the bank’s claim was moved ahead of other previously-senior-to-Chase claimants.• My recommendation to hold the bank’s largest equity position until the market value improved from $11 to $23 per share, led to a realized gain of $19 million upon sale seven months later at an average price of $25 per share.
