Subcontracting to Rio Tinto Alcan to lead the implementation and execution of all QA/QC requirements for all off-site manufacturing and on-site installation for the Engineering and Projects department for Yarwun Optimisation Project (YOP) Key role responsibilities include:• Pre-approval of Piping mills, pipe spooling manufactures, NDE & PWHT vendors by initial audit and quality documentation review and approval according to ISO9001, API 5L, A106 B&C, ASMEB31.3, ASMEIX and RTAY specifications.• 3rd party surveillance audits, dimensional and welding inspections of off-site manufactures, NDE & PWHT vendors to ensure compliance.• Support and advise the engineering department on material compliance, weld design and QA/QC Welding technical issues.• Surveillance audits and inspections of on-site contractors to ensure compliance.• Monitor, support and mentor off-site manufactures and on-site contractor’s through QA/QC technical issues and queries to ensure project compliance and efficiency.• Facilitate close out of non-conformance Reports (NCR’s).• Overall MDR management, review & sign off as 3rd party client certified senior inspector.
