Through my experience of working in customer service, as well as my work placements and internship, I have learned a variety of skills that are useful in the workplace:Communication skills: Through my study of and subsequent acquirement of a bachelor’s degree in History and Creative Writing, as well as a master’s degree in International Relations, I have developed my ability to use clear verbal and written communication to present my arguments.Research and Analysis: These degrees have also developed my skills in critical thinking, thus allowing me to critically analyse information from both primary and secondary sources.Organization and Leadership – Through my experience working in retail, as well as the various other work experiences I have had, I have developed my ability to organize projects from pre-development to completion. Writing and Creativity – During my internship with Brightman Group, I learned how to write copy through writing their newsletters and blogs. I am passionate about writing across all forms, and have written poetry, short stories, screenplays, and play scripts as part of my Creative Writing degree.
