ETS Business Technology Liaisons (BTLs) are senior leadership staff who serve as technical liaisons and advocates for Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and Functional Centers of Excellence (FCEs). BTLs are members of their respective SBU and FCE Leadership teams and are responsible for:• Primary point of contact/communication between the SBU/FCE and IT;• Managing all IT financial commitments to the SBU/FCE;• Reviewing and approving all SBU/FCE requests for IT services;• Reviewing and approving all IT project estimates (cost and schedule) related to the SBU/FCE;• Providing regular status reviews of IT projects with SBU/FCE in terms of planned/actual schedules/costs and risks & issues;• Reviewing change requests against approved project requirements and/or scope and approving the request to move forward to impact analysis;• Assist their respective SBU/FCE Leadership to develop Long Range Technology Plans and interpret, align, and manage the implementation of those plans with available technology.

Managed Scoring, Reporting & Technology (SR&T) resources in support of production releases for over 50 applications including PeopleSoft, Texas, K-12, GRE, Praxis, TOEFL, and The College Board. Performed liaison role between Senior Management, Application Development, Software & Performance Testing, Systems Engineering, and Data Management Services. Negotiated, delivered, and managed the budgets for supported applications and cost centers. Instrumental in defining and developing the Release Manager role during the team’s creation in 2006. Performed SharePoint site administrator duties for multiple areas including Release Management, Software Testing, Data Management Services, Secure Computing Initiative, and Internal Audit.

Partnered on Asset Management and Reporting project that accounted for over $10 Million worth of proposed write-offs. Managed a team of associates and their collection of inventory data for entry into the asset management database.Served as assistant database administrator and developed procedures for generating work orders and on/off-boarding of employees from within the system. Scripted Connect-It scenarios for integrating SAP Financial information with Asset Center 4.3.1 database. Supported Asset Center server and database inquiries.

Captured and documented both business requirements and functional requirements for Plan Sponsor Website development projects. Assisted with unit and D2D testing as required. Coordinated the production support activity for multiple Retirement Service’s Online websites including Plan Participant Website, Customer Support Website, Plan Sponsor Website, Sales Partner Website, Plan Conversion Website and Single Sign-On Administration Website.Developed an implemented new production support issue tracking database that resulted in improved metrics, resource management, and resolution confirmation. Served as primary gatekeeper of internal user access to each of the above listed websites including profile creation and security based role assignment.
