• Identifies potential risks and emerging issues in Information Technology (IT) activities, such as risk management, logical and physical access controls, internal controls, operational controls, network infrastructure security, telecommunication security, application security, member data integrity, confidentiality and availability, business continuity planning and security response, vendor oversight, and recommends appropriate solutions to resolve cyber security issues;• Develops, supports, implements and monitors IT examination activities as they relate to credit unions and provides technical support to the Western Region’s management and staff on IT related matters;• Serves as the region's technical expert for IT examination issues and provides timely input on IT regulatory issues;• Advises regional management and staff on current and future technology trends related to IT, including Electronic Financial Services (EFS); and• Represents the region at meetings and conferences involving IT related issues.

- Manages a district of complex federal and state credit unions totaling more than $11 billion in total assets.- Plans, organizes and conducts regulatory examinations (audits) of insured federal and state credit unions as the lead examiner or under the supervision of the lead examiner to determine the safety and soundness of operations and compliance with applicable laws and/or regulatory guidance.- Conducts interviews with credit union staff; collaborates with credit union management to improve processes and efficiencies.- Presents written examination (audit) results to credit union managers, senior executives and Boards of Directors.- Writes clear and concise exam reports and supplementary guidance for credit union management; drafts summaries and administrative action memos for supervisors and regional leadership.- Identifies issues/concerns in credit union operations and coordinates corrective actions with supervisors, credit union leadership and Boards of Directors. - Analyzes and trends quarterly financial reports of credit unions to identify areas of increased risk; forwards recommendations to supervisors when additional supervision is required.- Accomplishes work independent of direct supervision.- Coordinates and completes multiple examinations, oversight, and projects at the same time.- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.- Reviewed and provided feedback to senior leaders on three sections of NCUA’s Examiner’s Guide.- Field tested the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Cybersecurity Assessment program. - Formulated and managed $1.3M annual budget for Military Family Housing office and two divisions within the 775th Civil Engineering Squadron. Management of three accounts was normally handled by two analysts at the next higher paygrade, but I was able to effectively manage these three accounts at my level.- Analyzed cost, funds, operations and other pertinent data to determine goals for cost targeting, program development, and formulation of budget estimates.- I regularly met with division leadership and department managers to discuss equipment and technology needs for acquisition and budget execution. As purchasing agent, I regularly researched and processed purchase orders for my assigned accounts.- Hand-picked by the Base Comptroller to conduct a study of overtime variances within the Civil Engineering Group. The results of the study and accompanying report were presented to base leadership for improvements to the program.- Coordinated 200+ minor construction purchase requests annually.- Initiated timely review of travel orders and vouchers for 420 civilian and active duty members- Appointed to the base commander’s Tiger Team to reduce redundant logistics and acquisition computer systems across the base and the Air Force as a whole.

- Lead technician and manager; supervised up to 10 pharmacy military/civilian technicians and pharmacy students.- Researched and acquired $500,000 state of the art dispensing equipment. I personally oversaw and coordinated the project from acquisition through to onsite installation. I also simultaneously led a team that designed and coordinated a $400,000 pharmacy remodeling project that reduced processing time by 30 percent with no disruption to operations.
