Technical and mining services department incorporates a team of professionals in Property and Titles management, Geology and Exploration, Management of the Centennial Drilling company, and Mining Engineering and Planning disciplines.

Reporting to the CEO, this role established an Executive General Manager across the Centennial Coal Western Operations of Clarence Colliery mine and associated complex, Springvale Mine and Western Coal Services complex, Airly Mine and the Angus Place Care and Maintenance site.This portfolio also included rehab activities associated with the closed Charbon mine opencut.

Reporting to the CEO, role established an Executive General Manger over the two Centennial Coal Longwall operations of Mandalong Mine and Springvale Mine.During this period Mandalong Mine commenced mining in the Mandalong South lease extension and Springvale successfully recovered the Longwall following the loss of the Maingate roadway. The recovery incorporated an unconventional method of establishing a recovery road by excavating in front of the LW face with a Continuous Miner.

Team consists of the Health & Safety department, Environment and Community department, Corporate and commercial Risk and general compliance systems for the Centennial Coal group. Working closely with our BANPU sister countries Thailand, Indonesia and China was a member of BANPU Global GRC development project Steering committee

Manager of the Clarence Coal complex, incorporating the business and operational responsibility for the Clarence Colliery Underground Coal Mine, Clarence Coal Handling Preparation Plant and Coal train loading facilities.Introduced the worlds first JOY 4FCT Continuous Coal haulage pillar extraction mining method into Clarence in 2010. During this period Clarence maintained industry leading productivity rates for Board and Pillar operations in Australia. Partial Extraction mining methods developed at Clarence set the bench mark for subsidence management practices in Australian Coal industry.

Manager of the Angus Place Colliery Underground Coal Mine,Purchase and successful introduction of new Longwall Face.
