Healthcare Catalyst provides data architecture and clinical guidance to coordinate development of clinical data warehouses for Hospital systems. I am responsible for analysis and design to import data from various sources, including the internal patient's electronic medical records, human resource systems, supply chain processing and other systems to the adaptive data warehouse. The data is then combined from the sources systems into subject area marts to support improvements within the clinical programs of the hospitals.

Management of the internal development/IT staff from an initial group of 2 developers up to a group of 14 staff members. Transferred to CTO position from development group to continue to provide support and analysis for product design and architecture. Development of a medical provider fraud and abuse detection system. Development of a claims edit system designed to detect and correct payment errors and a scripted automated reporting system.

Managed a team of 8 software engineers developing a client/server application providing medical claim review for Worker Compensation Claims. Helped coordinate 4 major releases and various interim patch releases of the product. Provided research and support for the client services team to help in resolving issues. Conducted web development and Java training course for development team. Focus of my development was on code optimization for improved Oracle query performance.

Developed custom applications using Lotus Notes to track market analysis by our field representatives. Provided interfaces for automated reporting of results. Received Customer Advocate Award for scripting automated reporting process. Completed Lotus Notes Professional certification.
