  I have had several major job changes in my career, almost all self employed, they have enabled me see through to the essence of a problem and fine tune the result. Because most of my working life i had to be self reliant I had to master the mechanics, technology and construction of a vast range of furniture and building materials. Now I am able to investigate errors and come to a correct conclusion as to why a product or an element may have failed and the action necessary to correct it and attribute responsibility for the corrections.An example of a typical Furniture Consultancy job:An End User has bough an arm chair from a leading furniture retailer. The user, after a month or so, claims the chair no longer gives support and is uncomfortable. The Retailer sends one of their technicians to look at it and reports no faults found; you will not be surprised this is very common. The user does not accept the report and wants an independent assessment. Either the retailer or the user can employ me to arbitrateI will test the chair, using the techniques i have learned over the decades, photograph it and any visual discrepancies, and write a report. The report is impartial. no matter who is paying for my services my report is written for the benefit of the court, if the case should ever go that far.Arbitration is unbiased and requires a thorough understanding of the complaint based on the evidence to hand. I am proficient at identifying the main cause of complaint and supplying solutions.
