Impo International is a world-class footwear company designs and produces women's dress sandals, shoes and boots for major retailers, independents and footwear companies internationally. Impo is involved in the production of footwear, both for its well-known Impo branded line and on behalf of its many private label customers, all over the world, with an emphasis on providing quality fashion footwear. Responsible for distribution, warehouse operations, information technology, ecommerce and development of third-party vendor direct fulfillment, customer service, accounting, finance, FP&A, and human resources.• Identified and built out 11,000 sqft secondary warehouse location to accommodate peak season inventory levels and implemented WMS (warehouse management system) to streamline the pick, pack, and ship process to reduce bottlenecks in the system and increase throughput by 45%, while reducing labor cost by more than 30%• Buildout of back-office systems to support third-party vendor direct fulfillment growing top-line revenue in the ecommerce sales channel by more than 700% over four years from less than $600,000 to more than $5.0 million in revenue.• Negotiated and led the sale of the long-term lease of Verizon Communication tower for $453,000 and was instrumental in the successful defense of patent and trade dress litigation with a significantly larger competitor for $550,000.• Led the company’s COVID-19 response for government assistance with the Payroll Protection Program (“PPP”) $375,000, Employee Retention Tax Credit (“ERC”) $600,000, loan payment forgiveness $65,000, in addition to obtaining a $2.0 million EIDL (Emergency Injury Disaster Loan).• Increased the visibility and speed of financial reporting, analysis by customer and sales channel to identify selling opportunities, landed inventory requirements to support ecommerce sales forecast from quarterly to monthly, weekly and daily as needed.
