My role as a Director, is to head up the sales team. I am implementing the structure that I believe will deliver the optimum results for Real Foods. I have helped to build a sales team that now has nine team members to continuously grow and develop our business in Grocery and Out of Home. I work closely with the sales team as well as my fellow Director's to develop strategy. We have many international suppliers around the globe that we continuously collaborate with on brand plans and NPD.

I absolutely loved my time in this position. It was all about rebuilding an exciting new Real Foods and launching new brands onto the NZ market. I was allowed to focus on this solely and was involved in building new partnerships and working closely with the Real Foods team to launch and grow the new product ranges. These new brands grew strongly year on year to become the drivers of our business. Within this time, we established Alpro as the leader in the plant based barista milk space and Remedy as the market leading kombucha. We were also successful in establishing King Island Coconut water and Pure Harvest Organic plant based milks. As a result of the success of these new brands, we were able to transform our sales team and move from a third party sales provider to employing our own team of Territory Business Managers as well as add additional resource of a National Field Sales Manager and a Business Manager for Out of Home.

I manage the Vitasoy Brand for New Zealand, reporting through to the General Manager.The role encompassses managing the Principal, all of the key accounts (Grocery and FMCG) and also the sales agency that services our retail customers.Some of the tasks involved are market analysis, promotional planning, forecasting, stock management, budget setting, strategy plans and trade shows.My main objective is to achieve volume and profit targets.

This role was totally focussed on the Progressive Account across the entire Sanitarium portfolio of Breakfast Cereals, Spreads and Soy Milk.My main tasks were maximising return on trade spend, Category Reviews, new product launches, forecasting and implementing growth strategies.
