Project Manager & Quality Engineer with years of travel and manufacturing experience. Part SQA & part Sales Engineer. I have worn many hats and enjoy seeing new plants, people, and technology. Daily experience with corrective actions such as 8D and 5-Why analysis; internal process audits, APQP, PPAP submissions and FMEAs. Daily experience in customer support, including responding to Daimler Chrysler, General Motors, and Delphi on-line corrective action reporting systems. As a Core Quality Engineer, much of my time was spent supporting various operating departments in both the U.S. and Mexico. Such as, thermoplastic injection molding, metal stamping and electroplating. I have worked with other quality engineers developing processes and work instructions for the production lines. I was also responsible for working with suppliers to resolve their quality problems. This plant is scheduled to close in late 2005 as all production moves to Tyco's Mexico facility. My former position no longer exists at Tyco.
