Solving yield issues is my passion. After owning a a stencil company for 24 years, the ability to focus on customer needs and not be bogged down with the weight of business ownership makes it possible for me to focus all of my attention on customers. Through FCT's state-of-the-art stencil technology, solder products and technical engineering my goal is to grow sales while helping customers improve their process. With over 30 years in the stencil industry I enjoy using my CAD design experience, Laser expertise and Photo-Chemical Machining knowledge to help customers address the challenges that come with the continuing miniaturization in our industry. Nano-coatings are changing our industry and I'm excited to be apart of FCT as it launches NanoSlic Gold! Again, this will solve customer's yield issues and allow solder deposition at ratios and sizes not before possible. I believe this technology is the biggest advancement in stencil printing since the industry migrated from chemically etched stencils to laser cut stencils in the early 90's. I'm thankful every day to be a part of company that is continually focused on technical solutions and amazing support.
President
Global Stencil was previously Specialy Photo-Etch and was started to support the PCB industry with Photo-Chemically etched aluminum and copper heatsinks. The same process was developed to produce custom, thin, custom parts for many different industries. Nickel plating lines and Aluminum Anodizing lines were also implemented to provide complete parts to customers, many of which were military. In the early 90's we started etching brass and then stainless steel stencils for the Surface Mount industry. Eventually we began mounting these stencils in frames as SMT Assembly became the new norm for circuit board assembly. In the mid 90's we acquired our first laser cutting equipment and continued that transition from etched stencils to laser stencils into the early 2000's. We did maintain the chemical etching line for step stencils and continue that process today. In 2013 Global Stencil was sold to FCT Assembly to become a part of a larger company with even more offerings.
Production Manager
While working at Harris Manufacturing Company, I developed and improved the Photo-Chemical Machining process. Many high precision parts were processed using this method in many different types of metals including, BeCu, Copper, Brass, Phosphor Bronze, Stainless Steel, Blue Spring Steel, Aluminum as well as many other alloys. The Photo-Chemical Machining(Chemical Milling) process is a stress free method of producing very thin, high accuracy parts.
