Serving Northern Indiania

Served as President and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Northern Indiana encompassing 23 counties with offices in Fort Wayne, South Bend area and Merrillville. The BBB is dedicated to promoting trust and integrity in the marketplace. Was responsible for supervising all facets of the business including budgeting and finance, sales and marketing, and operations. Was primary contact with local media outlets for news and information regarding consumer education and public service announcements. Also responsible for fundraising in support of the annual Torch Award ceremony recognizing integrity in the marketplace.

Fort Wayne, Indiana Area

Served as Chief Operating Officer for consolidated entity of Grabill Bank and MarkleBank into the new $950 Million iAB Financial Bank. Primary responsibilities included supervision and leadership over: all lending functions in a diversified loan portfolio encompassing 31 lenders, 2 Regional Branch Administrators and 16 retail branches spread over four counties, an experienced Wealth Management Department, a successful Crop Insurance Agency, a robust Residential Secondary Mortgage Department, and an expanding Treasury Management Department.

Wells, Huntington, Allen And Grant Counties, Indiana

Responsible for overall leadership in all aspects of leading a $350 million community bank. Developed and implemented the overall mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives for the institution. Guided bank to record earnings and industry high-performing measurements. Bank was recognized as largest SBA 7(a) lender in northeast Indiana for SBA fiscal year ending 9/30/09. Bank was a multi-year recipient of the IBA 5 Star Bank and MAXI Award. Selected for feature story and cover of September 2008 issue of Hoosier Banker magazine.

Functioned as the senior credit officer of a $500+ Million community bank and its corresponding loan portfolio. Responsible for all aspects of lending, credit and supervision of a high quality loan portfolio. Other positions during my tenure at Grabill Bank: Concurrently served as Branch Administrator for 7 bank branches. Responsibilities included the direct supervision of 2 Regional Branch Managers.
