Responsibilities included: Writing and reviewing system commissioning procedures, performing equipment Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) as required for startup and commissioning, ordering of spare parts and materials required for commissioning phase of project, coordination and scheduling of various vendor TA’s. System startup and commissioning to include verification of system cleanliness, equipment rotation, motor run-ins, lubrication and initial system startup.

Greater San Diego Area

Responsibilities included qualifying and standing watch in a Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plant Main Machinery Room, maintenance and operation of Ship Service Turbine Generators, Main Engines, Flash type Distilling Units and all associated support equipment. Was selected to stand Chief Machinery Operator watch for MTT and ORSE reviews and drill sets and also to the General Quarters plant watch team. Assisted with the planning of a maintenance availability and preparation of over 5000 safety tag outs for maintenance items.
