CurrentI started School Design Matters to study the latest thinking on teaching and learning and determine how facilities might support the continuing evolution of education. I offer clients independent consulting concerning facility needs for school transformation. I am dedicated to helping clients plan and design school facilities that support student centered teaching and learning.I am interested in how technology is changing education and how teachers can use technology to enhance their interactions with students and each other. I am very knowledgeable on approaches taken by other countries to improve their educational systems and keenly interested in how educational facilities in these countries support their missions. I actively review the latest research on how facilities influence learning and the best practices for educational facility design.
