Patient blood samples are analyzed in Oncimmune's metro Kansas City CLIA certified laboratory and reported back to the clinician.A key component of Oncimmune triple digit growth over the last 3 years has been the development of several international and US strategic partnerships; with several more in process. An ongoing commercial audit of clinical data from 1600 patients tested by EarlyCDT-Lung shows its utility in detecting early stage lung cancer and its overall performance. There are two ongoing randomized clinical trials. The Scottish NHS is conducting a 10,000 patient trial to validate the economics as a high risk screen and a 1600 patient study at National Jewish is comparing EarlyCDT-Lung and CT scans for pulmonary nodule determinations. Both studies began in 2012 and initial outcomes are expected in the near future. Oncimmune is developing an extensive pipeline for other solid tumor cancers, with a hepatocellular carcinoma test projected for 2014.
