Through all my years of working in customer service and administrative positions, I have learned that the most helpful thing you can do is listen. Listen to the message people are actually trying to convey, not just the words they are saying. Always put yourself in the customer's shoes. My experience with different venues of employment have taught me many different lessons. For instance, working in restaurants, serving or managing, requires the ability to not only multitask but to do it at a rapid pace while keeping a level head to deal with any obstacles that may arise. Working in a call center has taught me the power of listening and conveying a message properly. Meaning, never assume that information is easily understood for someone just because it is for you. My time in administrative roles has fine-tuned my ability to focus on the details. Specifically, when created data sheets and various records.
