I have over 10 years experience as a professional in the IT industry, 8 years of which have been in Brisbane City Council. All of the roles that I have had within the IT industry have been in a support role. In these roles I have been required to: support current business processes; work with business analysts and users to identify potential areas of system improvement; provide technical solutions to solve current or emerging issues; work with business representatives to identify, design, develop and implement new system functionality; provide input into organisational IT and business processes; provide release management and coordination; work with other technical teams with in the organisation; work with external organisationsI also have over 5 years experience as a secondary school teacher.
