As Club Journalist, I work to produce editorial, social media and video content across the first team, women's team and academy, interviewing key figures from the club.

I oversaw all media output for Aston Villa Foundation and Aston Villa Women, creating written, video and audio content for six social media channels and avfc.co.uk. In addition to covering the Women in the FA Women's Championship, I created and implemented marketing campaigns to drive attendance and build engagement across all of our platforms. For the Foundation, I covered events and produced content to raise awareness of our work in the local community.

After completing my regional work to earn a second year Working Holiday Visa, I was taken on as a Writer for Daily Mail Australia. Reporting to the Showbiz Editor, I was responsible for producing articles for publication on Daily Mail Online, not only the Australian site but also the English and American sites.

Following an initial one-month internship, I was taken on as a freelance writer for Citrus Media. I worked to provide content for an up-and-coming events website named GoGoRace, while also contributing to other titles. Upon leaving Citrus, I completed the 88 days of regional work which enabled me to gain my second year Working Holiday Visa.

As the main contact for sports at the Bucks Free Press, I worked to produce 6-7 pages for every weekly edition as well providing content for the website. I built a strong network of contacts which enabled me to produce the best local sports content compared to our competitors. Alongside writing the majority of content for the sports section, I also sub-edited the pages and became fluent in using Quark and Photoshop as a result. My duties included covering Wycombe Wanderers, writing match reports, pre- and post-match interviews and opinion pieces.

Working full-time as part of the club's media team, I was responsible for producing articles for the match day programme and website. I organised and conducted many interviews during my time with the Hammers, including players such as Ivan Campo, Stelios Giannakopolous, Glen Johnson and the majority of the first team squad.I also travelled up and down the country covering every Development Squad match for the club as well as producing content for West Ham TV. I was also entrusted with posting stories on the club's social media channels.

After undertaking a course in sports journalism I was versed in the art of producing content for print, online, radio and television. The course provided teaching on how to produce material on: -Radio-Television-Magazine-Written pressAs well as providing us with the skills we need to build contacts and network successfully.
