Responsible for Field Applications design and setup, Technical Support and Training for all Symetrix products including the SymNet open architecture Dante scalable DSP. Based out of the metro New York area I worked with the territory managers and manufactures representatives in North America. I proactively supported dealers and consultants in the proper design, setup and installation of the complete product line of professional sound systems. Heavy emphasis on the engineered sound and enterprise conferencing and UCC markets.• I was a technical expert on all Symetrix products and technologies for the purpose of system design, installation, programming and technical support. • Partnered with all territory representatives to drive sales and meet territory sales objectives. • Integral contributor to the sales process from pre-sales site surveys to in-person customer design presentations. • Interfaced with dealers, consultants, and end-users as well as the product development team. • Provided advanced engineering support to consultants, dealers and end-users. • Designed, programmed, and commissioned DSP's, control systems, and other processing equipment as required for an installation. • Developed training material. Trained dealers and others in the advanced use and applications of Symetrix products.• Prepared written reports for technical and design issues. Provided oral presentations to customers, dealers at all levels of technical management. • Assisted with technical set-up for trade shows and events • Kept Engineering, Marketing, Product Development, Technical Services and Quality Assurance divisions informed of any product problems, opportunities, software bugs or emerging customer needs.

North East And Metro New York

I was in a hands-on role based out of the metro New York area that required the design, deployment and support of software and hardware based solutions both in production and lab environments. These deployments focused on Polycom’s RealPresence Platform and Sound Structure Installed Audio products but also included many other technologies needed to support Polycom’s RealPresence Platform and other unified communication tools. Those technologies include, Windows Servers, VMware & Hyper-V, Active Directory, Checkpoint Security and basic layer 2/3/4 networking, 3rd party controls systems like Crestron or AMX and various VoIP and UCC platforms such as Microsoft Lync. I provided design, operational and technical support for pre-sales custom demos, proof of concepts and pre-beta testing or evaluations by the Polycom technical sales teams and their clients. • I utilized monitoring tools to proactively identify problems with systems, applications, and networks• I assisted in coordinating with vendors and escalation support teams• I executed complex Deployment Procedures for major software changes and updates.• I along with other Sales Engineers coordinated, prepared and executed complex, multi-site demonstrations• I provided on-site and remote set-up, configuration and programming support
