The system will be the definitive source for all student statistical information and links to the ATO and Centrelink. * Project Manager/ Business Analyst - EFTsure Vendor Onboarding and Payment Validation Phase 1 and 2Project Manager / Business Analyst responsible for all aspects of the project from contract, to process design, stakeholder involvement and vendor management. EFTsure is a cloud-based software as a solution (SaaS) offering that reduces the chances of fraud and errors when paying vendors. Phase 1 successfully implemented in October 2019. The recommended product from ConvergePoint is now in implementation.* Project Manager/ Business Analyst - Electronic Invoicing Implementation Project Manager for the implementation of a cloud-based solution to automate the entry of supplier invoice information into the Unversity’s Point of Sale and Inventory system. Successfully implemented in 2018.* Senior Business Analyst - Qualification RecordingAnalysis of requirements for recording qualifications against people and positions.

Responsible for Financial and Research Systems at the University of Auckland. Managing teams to provide support and development of PeopleSoft Financials, InfoEd Research, and Hyperion Planning. From February to November 2017, my team successfully delivered a change of bank for the university, implemented a new purchasing market site, applied updates to the InfoED Research Administration system, introduced Orbit Travel Booking and implemented the Concur Expense Management System. Concur uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to streamline expense claim processing and is integrated into the PeopleSoft Financials. The projects gave me the opportunity to implement Agile project management techniques, and exposure to new ideas and challenges. However, while I enjoyed my time at Auckland University, the separation from family and friends was difficult. I decided to return to Australia in November 2017.

Manager of the Student Administrative Systems Support team (SASS) responsible for the support and development of student administration systems and code support of the UniFi Financial system for the University of Queensland.SASS consisted of three teams: * Enterprise Applications Development (EAD) - 9 PeopleSoft developers, * Student Function Group (SFG) - up to 11 business and support analysts* SASS Projects – combination of SFG and EAD staff for larger, single focus projects.

Manager of the Enterprise Applications Development (EAD) team at the University of Queensland.EAD was responsible for software development, maintenance and enhancement of the PeopleSoft based SI-net Student and UniFi Financial systems.SI-net was the University of Queensland's (UQ) Student Information System; it was a package solution from PeopleSoft that has been customised and extended to meet the needs of the University. The delivered system comprised: admissions, student records, student financials, academic advisement, and campus community. EAD developed additional modules for graduations, programs & plans, external studies, and student portalUniFi is the corporate financial system for UQ consisting of general ledger, purchasing, accounts payable, management reporting, billing, accounts receivable, project accounting and fixed assets. EAD was responsible for all PeopleSoft customisation of this system. EAD offered support of existing applications, the development of new features and implementation of new systems using PeopleSoft tools, SQR, Crystal, XMLPublisher, COBOL and Java.

Manager of the Human Resources Systems Support Team. The Human Resources Systems Support Team (HRSS) was responsible for the support and development of computerised information systems for the human resource function within the University. The primary system was Aurion Human Resource and Payroll. This package system developed by Aurion Corporation comprised a number of integrated modules including Core-Biographical, Leave, Payroll, Learning/Development, Employee Self Service, Budgeting, Recruitment, and Timekeeper. The underlying software was Uniface, and the database was Oracle. HRSS developed new systems to augment the Aurion functionality. These consisted mainly of Microsoft Access and VB applications plus utility programs using shell scripting and C.

Part owner and manager of a business that grew to be one of the largest Swimming Pool wholesalers in South Africa. Setup IT systems and infrastructure to support manufacturing, wholesaling and retail operations.

Hours based and fixed price contracts on financial systems for a number of South African companies. Development was generally using the PROIV development language with PROACC and Pastel Accounting software.

Appointed as a junior project leader in 1987, I was involved in a number of IT projects culminating in the promotion to second in charge of the IT division. I had responsibility for financial, roadside assistance and personnel/ payroll systems.

I joined Health Computing Services on completion of my BSc as a junior programmer and advanced to project leader controlling a team of three. Development and support of Mental Health Patient Trust Account, Medical Registry and Patient Information systems developed in COBOL, INFO, Dataflex, MANTIS and AS.
