Providing daily leadership and focus for drilling, completions and subsea operations to ensure a safe, compliant, cost-effective operation that delivers quality wells.Providing expert advice and assistance to drilling engineers, drilling supervisors and managers on operations related issues including demonstrating leadership in all aspects of Safety Management and regulatory compliance.Responsible for managing the rigs hand-over from rig share partner (Suncor and Statoil) and commence drilling of G25-7 well in the North Amethyst Drill Centre as well as commence Searcher Exploration well. Manage the activities of all Husky other third party service providers through monthly offshore appraisal and monthly performance reviews onshore. Involved and responsible for the training and development of drilling supervisors, offshore and onshore drilling engineers involved with HGR operations.Interface with other departments i.e. sub-surface, development, geology, subsea, logistics, contracting and procurement to ensure smooth operations of drilling and completion operations.
