I have been working in the Mining Industry for 40 years as where I started as an Apprentice Boilermaker at CSA Mine in Cobar. Then working at the Elura, Peak Gold & CSA Mines in Cobar as a Boilermaker carrying out Fixed Plant & Fleet Maintenance & Mining Departments as a Tradesman. Moved to Orange to start working at the Ridgeway Gold Mine Development Project in 1998, working initially through Brandrill Limited as a Boilermaker & Civil Crew Operator, Peabody/ Eroc as a Boilermaker, then since 2005 as a Workshop Fitter/ Boilermaker for Newcrest Mining through to 2007 at the Cadia East Development Project. Then as a Maintenance Coordinator through to 2010, then as a Planner / Scheduler with the CVO Planning Department until current. The roles that I have covered in the last 13 years in the CVO Planning Department have been as an Underground Fleet Planner / Scheduler, Light Vehicle Planner / Scheduler, Senior Planner, Long Term Planner, Cadia East Fixed Plant & Automation Scheduler & a Surface Fixed Plant Planner / Scheduler in the Modular Outage space. I have really enjoyed the variety of each of these Roles and the skills that I obtained whilst performing those, Roles. I have been able to add lots of Improvements in those Roles & have left those Roles in a lot better position before I took on those Roles.I am an active member of Newcrest SAP Functional Review Group between our Sites and carry out SAP Testing when required. I have been heavily involved with our Mobility Projects and continuing to be an onsite support to our Maintenance Technicians and to our Planning & Improvement Teams.I am very Process driven and hardworking, self-motivated person who works well as part of a team or on my own using my own drive & initiatives.I have excellent working relationship with my Peers, Management, Vendors & with our SAP Team in our Melbourne office.The most important thing I love spending quality time with my Family & I love my Sport.
