Experienced researcher and public health clinician with expertise in emerging infectious diseases, health systems strengthening, and vulnerable populations. Past experience includes significant overseas work (e.g. health systems assessment, capacity building and in-country support for the 2014 Ebola outbreak in Liberia), harm reduction and outbreak prevention & response.Greg is a strong research professional, with a PhD focused on communicable disease prevention and control from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he also received a Post-graduate Diploma (PGDip) in public health & policy. Greg has three additional degrees: 1) a Master of Science in Population & Public Health (Simon Fraser University); 2) a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (McMaster); and 3) a Bachelor of Arts in bioethics & political science (University of Toronto).Greg holds practicing registration as an RN with the BC College of Nursing Professionals and is employed as a Senior Scientist with Cytel Health. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia.
