Other key responsibilities of this position include managing a significant operational budget and project management. Also responsible for managing partnerships such as the University of Newcastle located on Port Macquarie Campus and involved in the project control group to deliver $10M of joint funded major works on Campus. The Campus Manager is also responsible for the delivery of Reconciliation Action Plan initiatives such as, Deadly Days festivals, cultural signage, and influencing the participation of Aboriginal people into training and education programs. Coaching staff to achieve their full potential through staff development, mentoring, instilling passion and leadership programs is also a key function of this role. The Campus provides a number of support activities such as counselling and disability services. The Campus Manager works closely with these campus access groups to ensure quality service delivery. This position has significant responsibilities for workforce planning and campus resource management as well as leading student discipline and students with a history of violence risk assessment processes.
