Highly experienced international political economist, both in government and in the private sector. Deep understanding of complex global dynamics and how to frame approaches to deal with them – analysis reflected in three dozen books and several hundred articles or chapters. In substance, deal particularly with economics, political-military affairs, terrorism and, more recently, cyber, with special emphasis on global strategic planning, and security and risk analysis, especially across the public-private divide. Have worked on virtually all regions of the world, beginning as a development economist in Latin America.
